  • Each day you will learn a healing mantra that you can repeat to yourself throughout the day. You will learn why the words in he mantra are particularly meaningful for trauma survivors.

  • Each day you will learn the science behind the impact of trauma on the body and brain. You will learn why you sometimes feel like you blame yourself, why you sometimes can’t even recognize yourself anymore, and why you feel okay one minute and feel like you will never be okay again the next minute.

  • Each day comes with a trauma-healing recipe and some information about the impact of trauma on our diet and feelings about food. Healing foods can still be quite delicious!

  • Following trauma, it can be difficult to care of yourself. It might feel exhausting to take a shower, or maybe you are able to do basic self-care but aren’t able to nurture yourself. You might sometimes feel disconnected from your body, or as if you don’t deserve to be cared for. Each day you will learn to better understand the reasons that self-care might be difficult, and how and why to overcome these feelings.

  • Each day you will learn healing, strength-building, empowering poses and stretches, and you will learn about the impact of trauma on your physical, mental, and emotional strength.

  • No, these are not live, real-time classes. You progress through the activities on your own time and at your own pace. You have 24/7 access to the content, and you work through it on your own at your own pace.

  • This is different from therapy. Therapy helps you process the traumatic incident and explore its effect on you. This course is not therapy, and it won’t guide you in exploring the traumatic incident. This course is a Guided Self-Study on trauma recovery, where you learn about ways trauma might be impacting you right now, and what you can do to feel better. It is recommended that you participate in therapy while you are participating in this course, to help you process any confusing and overwhelming feelings that arise. Therapy helps you process the past, this course helps you manage the symptoms you are experiencing in the present.

  • Not yet! But you can create a shortcut on your phone’s home screen. Then you will be able to access your content just like you can with an app.

  • As long as you want! You pay a monthly membership fee, and you can work through the lessons as slowly or as quickly as you like. You can go back and do them as many times as you like, too. There are 6 lessons each day for 130 days (180 total lessons), but you don’t have to do 6 lessons in a day unless you want to.
